Greg Fishwick is the new president of the Rotary Club of Rogue Gateway. He was installed July 2 during the club’s weekly meeting.
Fishwick is a retired educator who has been a member of Rogue Gateway since 2012. He also serves on the board of the Table Rock Foundation, Southern Oregon Aspire, the Grants Pass Relics Senior Softball Association, and the Grants Pass School District 7 Budget Committee.
Fishwick earned a Ph.D. in educational policy and management from the Uniersity of Oregon and an Oregon continuing administrator/superintendent license from Portland State University.
He also holds a master of science degree in counseling psychology from Western Oregon University and a bachelor of arts degree in education from Occidental College.
Fishwick retired in 2010 from Umpqua Community College where he served as dean of Arts and Sciences. He also worked as the Career and Technical Education coordinator for Southern Oregon Education Service District and as assistant principal and athletic director of Rogue River High School. He was Work Force Development coordinator for
the Oregon Economic Development Department, held several positions at Lane Community college and was a counselor, instructor and program coordinator at Rogue Community College.
Fishwick is married to Margaret Bradford, also a member and past president of Rogue Gateway Rotary. They have three adult daughters and three grandchildren.
